Ha. I’m Irish and grew up with that Ireland deck of cards.
Makes me excited that some of the great Irish actors like Gabriel Byrne, Richard Harris or Colin Farrell will be making surprise cameos in the Deck of Cards movie!
My money is on Colin Farrell who played, of course, The Penguin in the 10th Batman movie, The Batman.

I was going to complain about how awful this movie is going to be, how no one ever would want to see it, how it is a waste of our HEI points, how I’m so surprised that Tim is letting this nonsense move forward etc… but I find myself just too sad to even do that. I mean, Greg is in bad shape: mentally, emotionally, financially (clearly, he’s living in a dumpster). and I worry things are just going to get worse for him. There really needs to be an intervention here. His mind is so warped from years of trash movies and and all-popcorn diet. He needs serious help pronto. Feeding his delusions isn’t good for anybody.

Look out for this guys, sure you appear in the movie. The number 7 is often one that people pick as their favourite number (according to studies). Therefore, the 7 of diamonds will bee very important (being less expected than the 7 of hearts). I think we are inn line for a twist where the 7 of diamonds plays an important role in the climax of the movie.

This preview does reveal some of the characters we’ll meet and the magical location the film is set in.
Couldn’t be more excited for this, despite Tim’s meddling. Having already conquered the horror genre, it’ll be amazing to see what Gregg can do with fantasy. Watch out Peter Jackson!

I hope that this movie has a high run time of no less than 120 minutes. Gregg knows that high runtimes are what us buffs NEED from our movies. Even if it’s shorter I’m sure it’ll still be a 5 star movie though with a film buff like Grigg calling the shots! It’s MOVIE TIME!

Has Greg wayed in on how long it’s groing to be be? He has done a lot to instruct neofight buffs (among whom I include everyone reading this!) about the importnance of movie duration, YET and yet he is still withholding this informatgion about Duck of Cards! When’s the theatrical release? If it’s not in a cinema, it’s not cinema. I would hate for Tim to get in the way of Deck of Cards making its deserved box office splash and taking its rightful Oscar gold (which of course it would get nominated for because it’s a movie by and for true film buffs, but if the Oscars don’t even notice it came out that’s another story and would result in potentially another unfortunate Hobbit snubbing situation)

This is a smart move because decks of cards is something everyone knows about even in non-American countries internationally. Everyone knows all the characters and most people are known to have a favorite suit and a favorite card within that suit. There are something like 65 cards, so I hope we can all get equal screen time for all of our favorite cards.
