JOEY’S CORNER: Being Co-Host Of On Cinema Has Been A Blast

Hey gang, it’s your pal “Joey P”!  I just wanted to jot down some thoughts on my experience being the new Co-Host of On Cinema On Demand these past few weeks, and it has been an absolute blast!  I’m really grateful for the opportunity “T” has given me, while we get to talk about all sorts of stuff and having fun while we do it.

There is one thing I wanted to mention, and that is my weekly segment “Joey’s Take”, where I get a chance to tell you what I thought of that week’s movie and give it my star rating. From my side of things, “Joey’s Take” has been nothing but positive.  We tape the segment prior to the episode because it gives the look of the show a cool perspective for the viewer – it looks fresh and engaging in that format, and it’s just shot that way to give it an updated broadcast the way most shows are shot these days.  It isn’t meant to disengage or disrespect Gregg in any way, and frankly don’t understand why it would be.  I know the dude is way into movies, and that’s cool – we can still talk about the movie whether it’s during the show or after, it’s really about the content of the show and how it’s presented to you guys.

Also, I don’t know anything about any “letters”, calls, emails, or otherwise that have been received, or that anyone’s said one negative thing about “Joey’s Take” or the star ratings.  The ratings are just a traditional way of rating things, at least that’s the way I’ve always seen them.  It’s really not something to get hung up on.

That said, I look forward to next week and talk about movies, sports, politics, you name it!

Oh and one more thing…my softball team won again recently! We’re on a nice little win streak and beat our league rivals.  I love my guys, we have really good chemistry going.
